What is the technology fee?
The technology fee is a small percentage added to each transaction to cover payment processing costs. On the Starter plan, patients see and pay this fee. On Growth, your practice absorbs it. On Pro, there's no per-transaction fee at all.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time.
How do patients make payments?
Patients are directed to a secure, Stripe-hosted payment page. Card data never touches your servers or ours — it goes directly to Stripe, which is PCI Level 1 certified.
Do I need any special hardware?
No. PatientPayments is entirely web-based. Your staff uses the dashboard from any browser, and patients pay from their phone, tablet, or computer.
